WATERLOO — David W. Berger Sr., 58, of Waterloo, died at his son’s home on Friday, March 16, of natural causes.

He was born Sept. 5, 1953, in Waterloo, son of Thomas A. and Vivian Butler Berger. He married Debra Bagg on April 12, 1971, in Manchester, and they later divorced.

He graduated from Toledo High School in 1970. Mr. Berger worked at John Deere, Waterloo Industries and Bill Doran Floral.

Survived by two sons, David Jr. and Danny, both of Waterloo; two daughters, Nicole Berger and Jenny Berger, both of Waterloo; two brothers, Dean and Clyde (Delores), both of Waterloo; and three sisters, Hazel Tullar of Silver Springs, Md., Grace Lestina of Davenport and Betty Marshall of Quasqueton.

Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Robert, John and Tom; and special friend, Pamela Wion Thibodeau, on March 24, 2010.

Family-directed memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, with inurnment at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
