GLENN HENDERSON ELLIOTT

Word has been received of the death of Glenn Henderson Elliott, 64, formerly of Waterloo, who died Sunday in Tuscon, Ariz., of cancer. While living in Waterloo he was employed as a pipe-fitter at the Rath Packing Co. until October of 1960 when he moved to Tuscon.

He was born the son of Louis and Eliza Hughbanks Elliott July 12, 1903 in Waterloo. On July 4, 1923 he married Opal Billicks and they were later divorced. He married Marjorie Walton Sept. 18, 1941. He was a member of UPWA Local 46.

Survivors include his widow; three sons, Glenn Jr. of 188 Michigan Dr., Elk Run, Kenneth of Cedar Falls, and James of 1857 Forest Ave.; four daughters, Mrs. June Cook, 1217 Lincoln St., Mrs. Ernest Brown of 1101 Central St., Evansdale, Mrs. William Althause of Independence and Mrs. John Althause of 1012 1st Ave., Evansdale; one sister, Mrs. Grace Wade of 1800 Sycamore St., and 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, a sister, and one brother. Services and burial will be in Tuscon, Arizona.
