CEDAR FALLS - Geraldine Marie Mervin, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, March 16, at her daughter's home in Cape Coral, Fla.

She was born June 1, 1929, in Waterloo, daughter of Amos and Lucille Miller Johnson. She married Arnold G. Mervin on July 28, 1950, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death.

Survived by four sons, Jeff (Stacey) of River Ridge, La., Dan (Pat) of Oconomowoc, Wis., Marty (Anne) of St. Peter, Minn., and Brian (Christine) of Oviedo, Fla.; five daughters, Diane (Ron) Nauholz Abbas of Cedar Falls, Julie (Rich) Rumple of Daphne, Ala., Linda (John) Taylor of Palm Bay, Fla., Wendy (Greg) Allen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Christine (Ron) Seals of Cape Coral; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Sally Johnson and Jane Mangin.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Service, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service.

Memorial fund has been established.
