Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church for Mrs. Lillian Hayden, 75, of 206 Allen Street who died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 1970 at Parkview Gardens Nursing Home of complications of a stroke.

The Rev. Gary Reif, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories. Friends may call at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home until noon Saturday and at the church from 12:30 p.m. to service time.

She was born August 21, 1895 in Bennett, Iowa, the daughter of Ferdinand and Mary Schmidt Brandt. She married Merle Hayden December 29, 1913 in New Hampton. They lived in Charles City until 1935 when they came to Waterloo. She is a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Searles Hayden, 2611 Manor Street, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Pritchard, of Omaha, Nebraska, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hugo Schwarz of Davenport and Mrs. Paul Roney of Des Moines, and one brother, Claus Brandt, of Austin, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and one sister.
