WATERLOO - Lillie C. Stevenson, 80, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Feb. 26, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

She was born May 29, 1931, in Pickens, Miss., daughter of Arthur and Jane Torrey Young. She married the Rev. Marshall Stevenson on Sept. 5, 1959, in Waterloo, and they later divorced.

Ms. Stevenson was formerly employed at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works.

Survived by a daughter, Charlene (George) Ferguson of Lithonia, Ga.; a stepdaughter, Marva Stevenson-Triplett (Ron) of Kansas City, Mo.; two sons, Charles Sr. (Marilyn) Young of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Kenneth C. (Meredith) Stevenson of Virginia Beach, Va.; a stepson, Jeremiah (Lisa) Stevenson of San Diego; six grandsons, Curtis Bolden, Charles W. Young Jr., Maurice Spencer, Kelly E. Young, George Ferguson Jr. and Stewart Ferguson; five great-grandchildren, Bria N. Young, Aja Rose Young, Avery M. Bolden, Taylor J. Spencer and Malcom M. Bolden; two sisters, Cora Lee (T.J.) Jordan of Chicago and Hollean (Tommy) Riley of Waterloo; and two brothers, James Young Sr. of Lexington, Miss., and Richard (Bobbie) Young of Durant, Miss.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Stevenson; four sisters, Rosie Lee Bush, Gracie Pearl Grace, Josephine Banks and Mary Jane Simpson; and four brothers, Eddie, Charles, Ivory and Lee.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Gift of Life Ministries Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Service and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family at 211 Webster St.
