Bernice W. Wulf, 91, of Reinbeck and formerly of rural Hudson, Iowa, died Friday, November 12, 2004, at Parkview Manor in Reinbeck. She was born September 10, 1913 in rural Hudson, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Bertha (Heller) Dufel.

Bernice was a 1930 graduate of Reinbeck High School in Reinbeck, Iowa. She married Freddie R. Wulf on February 9, 1938 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He preceded her in death on October 24, 1978.

Survivors include her daughter, Joanne Nicklaus of Hudson, and her two sons, Fredrick (Beverly) Wulf and Lyle (Diann) Wulf, all of Hudson; five grandchildren, Teri (John) Neil, Lori (Dale) Neuhaus, Todd (Amy) Nicklaus, Douglas (Karen) Wulf and Kent (Patty) Wulf; ten great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Edna Dufel and a brother-in-law, Earl (Lucille) Wulf.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three brothers, Martin, Herman and Arthur Dufel; and her son-in-law, Carlyle Nicklaus.

Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church, with interment at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, both in rural Hudson. Memorials may be directed to the family or Zion Lutheran Church.
