EVANSDALE - Pauline Gray, 86, of Evansdale, died Sunday, Feb. 12, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 12, 1925, in rural Clark County, daughter of Edward and Zora Fullerton Carrier. She married Gearl "Cupie" Gray on July 14, 1943, in Leon.

Mrs. Gray was a homemaker until deciding to work various jobs in Evansdale. She worked for Powers Manufacturing for 16 years before retiring in 1982.

Survived by her husband; a son, Rick of Waterloo; a daughter, Patrica Ann Rice of Evansdale; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; a son, James; and numerous siblings.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today and for an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family

Pauline enjoyed having garage sales as well as going to them, being around others and enjoying life; loved to dance, wearing her high heels, jewelry, taking vacations and playing cards.
