UNA M. SALMONS was born May 11, 1914 in Buffalo, MO, the daughter of Joseph Leroy and Minnie Belle (Cowgill) Hendrickson. She died Tuesday, December 8, 1998, in Stockton, MO, at the age of 84 years, following a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

She married Tom Salmons June 24, 1933 in Springfield, MO. He preceded her in death November 8, 1977. Una worked for a variety of employers but by far her most satisfying work was with Sartori Memorial Hospital.

Una is survived by her three children and their spouses, Roger & Utae Salmons of El Paso, TX, Darrell & Shirley Salmons of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Donna & Joe Brody of Fair Play, MO; fourteen grandchildren, Stephen & Debbie Brody, Spencer Brody, Lori Brody, Sterling & Jackie Brody, Stacey Brody, Stewart & Alicia Brody, Jizel & Joe Palmer, Velvet & Monty Marshall, Una Lisa Salmons, Toni Salmons, Jolene Salmons, Dean & Lisa Salmons, Scott & Tonia Salmons, and Eric & Tammy Salmons, nineteen great grandchildren, and her sister, Betty Jean Miles and her husband, Harvey.

Una was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Hubert Rollin Hendrickson and William Henry Hendrickson.

Funeral Services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 14, 1998, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
