MRS. CHARLES TURNER

Mrs. Charles Turner, 99, of 2539 W.. 3rd Street, passed away Monday at 7:30 p.m. at her home of complications due to advanced age.

She was born Frances Ellen Love in Birling Kent, England, January 28, 1874, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Love. On March 28, 1901, she was married to Charles Tuner in Birling Kent and they came to America in May, 1912, arriving a few days later in Waterloo. She is a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband, one son, E. George Turner, 1000 Home Park Blvd., and one daughter, Mrs. Eva Edelen, La Porte City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

Arrangements are pending at Locke Funeral Home.
