Zora Lemley-Sulentic, 85, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, January 10, at Friendship Village in Waterloo.

She was born June 1, 1921, in Lovilia, Iowa, daughter of Joseph and Magdalena (Medarich) Perkovich. She married Paul F. Lemley on September 14, 1944, in Phenix City, Alabama. He died April 1, 1995. She then married William P. Sulentic, Sr. on December 3, 1997, in Waterloo.

She was employed with Sears Roebuck Company as a receptionist/secretary, for 20 years before retiring in 1973.

Survived by her husband; a step-son, William P. (Marcia) Sulentic, Jr. of Sumner; four step-grandchildren, Carolyn (Paul) Weber, Mark (Amy) Sulentic, Mike (Beth) Sulentic, and Kathy Sulentic; 7 step-great grandchildren, Emily, Nick and Andrew Weber, Alex, Lauren and Luke Sulentic, and Sophia Sulentic; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, John, George and Joseph Perkovich.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Waterloo with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5-7 pm with a 7 pm vigil service Friday at Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.

Memorials may be directed to Friendship Village Health Center in Waterloo.
