Funeral services are being planned for Saturday afternoon for Clyde S. Hinson, 75, of 802 Sheridan Rd., president of the Hinson Manufacturing Co., who died at his home of a heart attack. He was found dead Wednesday morning.
Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood funeral home after 4 p. m. Thursday.
Mr, Hinson founded the Hinson Manufacturing Co. in 1923. Before that he was associated with the Powers Manufacturing Co.
He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on October 1, 1890, the son of William and Ella Hinson. He married Bertha Buettner on June 4, 1912, in Cincinnati. They came to Waterloo in 1916.
Surviving are two sons, James Hinson of 625 Prospect Blvd.; William Hinson, 742 Sunrise Blvd.; and one brother, Carl of Memphis, Tennessee. Two grandsons and two granddaughters and one great grandson also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1963 and his parents.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church; a charter member founder and past president of the Kiwanis Club. Mr. Hinson was a member of Waterloo Lodge 105 AF & AM. He was a member of Sunnyside Country club; also of the Symposium Club; and a member of the Spokesmen's Club.
Friends who wish may give memorials to the First Presbyterian Church Foundation Fund.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church for Clude S. Hinson, 75, of 802 Sheridan Rd., president of the Hinson Manufacturing Co., who died of a heart attack at his home.
Dr. C. Vin White, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The casket will not be opened at the church. Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday until 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
