Stewartsville, MO - Curtis Dean Greeley, age 82, was born April 26, 1929 in Hudson, Iowa the son of Harold and Gladys (Arter) Greeley and passed away June 8, 2011.

Curtis served 30 years in the United States Army, through Korea and Vietnam as a Master Sergeant. On September 5, 1986 in Monterey, California,

Curtis and Josephine Petary were united in marriage. He was a loving husband, father, and grand-father. Curtis enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and being a Deacon at Risen Son Pentecostal Church in St. Joseph.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years Josephine Greeley, Stewartsville; eleven children, Curtis Greeley, Jr. (Jennifer), Troy Greeley (Carrie), Todd Greeley (Krista), Kathy Milano, Gary Wright (Kim), Fran Sharp (Frank), Lawrence Wright (Pamela), Jan Dowd (William), Pamela Schaefer (Scott), Linda Robinson (Don), Lora Gewecke; thirty-two grandchildren; and thirty-eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Jo Zavala; brother Duane Greely, two sisters, Geraldine Briden and Willadine Brandt; and three great-grandchildren, Riley Witkowski, Josephine Wright, and McKinze Sullivan.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Bram-Turner Funeral Home, Maysville with burial in Amity Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions: Risen Son

Burial: Amity Cemetery, Amity, Missouri.
