WATERLOO - Ardella "Jean" Linsey, 68, of Waterloo, died Monday, Jan. 16, at Allen Hospital.

She was born March 2, 1943, in Manchester, daughter of Joseph R. and Wilma Helmrich Mesch. She married Roger K. Linsey on March 18, 1962, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Linsey attended Waterloo West High School. She worked in housekeeping at Covenant Medical Center for 23 years, retiring in 2003.

Survived by her husband; two daughters, Kay M. (Gary) O'Connor of Waterloo and Sherry A. (Ron Erwin) Yearling of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Mesch of Waterloo; and a sister, Loretta Shook of Winterset.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, with burial in Waterloo Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.
