Mrs. Goldie Sommerfelt

BRANDON --- Services for Mrs. Goldie Sommerfelt, 79, who died Monday at People's Memorial Hospital in Independence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at White Funeral Home Chapel, burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at La Porte City; survivors include her husband, William; seven daughters, Mrs. Viola Weltzin of La Porte City, Mrs. Louis Weltzin of Jesup, Mrs. Werner Riechmann and Mrs. Ervin Riechmann both of Waterloo, Mrs. Joseph Mumaw of Jesup, Mrs. James Boelman of Ackley, and Mrs. Burton Necker of Independence; a son, Vernon of Brandon; her mother Mrs. Rose Purdy of La Porte City; a brother Merville Purdy of La Porte City; two sisters, Mrs. Louis West of La Porte City and Mrs. Florence Rice of Waterloo.
