Services for Roy L. Mantz, 88, of the Americana Nursing Home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Schwartz-Engelkes Funeral Home in Parkersburg with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery there. He died Saturday at Americana Nursing Home of complications of age.
He was born Aug. 9, 1888, in Grafton, Neb., the son of William and Ida McWilliams Mantz. He married Mary Cramer in Parkersburg in 1915 and moved to Waterloo where they owned and operated a grocery business. He retired in 1974. His wife died in March, 1976.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret Ruth of South English; and a brother, Guy Mantz of Galva.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday.
