Lucille Carleen Kellogg, 92, of Paris, Texas, formerly of Evansdale, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Paris Regional Hospital of natural causes.

She was born November 16, 1916 in Poweshiek County, daughter of Carl and Lucy Zak Haynes. She married Judson Riley Kellogg September 25, 1936 in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2002.

Mrs. Kellogg was employed as a custodian at West and Central High Schools and Jewett Elementary School for 15 years before retiring.

Survivors include one son, Duane G. (Helen) Kellogg of Fredericksburg; one daughter, Marlene K. (Mike) Pendleton of Paris, Texas; one sister, Margaret Lively of Des Moines; eight grandchildren, David (Eileen) Kellogg, Carolyn Martin, Lorne (Cindy) Kellogg, Douglas (Gloria) Kellogg, Laurie Hayzlett, David (Angela) Pendleton, John Pendleton, and April (Lincoln) Williamson; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Lesley Haynes; one daughter-in-law, Olive Ann Kellogg; and an infant granddaughter, Annette Marie Kellogg.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Linden United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa.

Public visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
