Scott Wayne Morrow

Scott Morrow was born November 20, 1963, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Harold and Gloria (Heidt) Morrow. He died Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

He was a 1983 graduate of Waterloo East High School, and furthered his education at Ellsworth and Hawkeye Community Colleges.

On November 21, 1997, he was united in marriage to Sharrie Smith in Waterloo, Iowa. He was employed by Unverferth Manufacturing Co., for thirteen years, and recently founded Morrow Wood Products Co., of New Hartford.

Scott operated the Haunted House in New Hartford for the past six years. He enjoyed his Harley's, purchasing one in 2003, and his Road King in 2006. He was a Cowboys, Hawkeye, and Cubs fan, and he loved his grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his wife, Sharrie; daughters, Samantha Jo Morrow of New Hartford, Kendra (Ernie) Mobley of Dike, and Dee Dee (Jay) Weidman of Rochester, MN; son, Jason (Stacy) Thoren of Cedar Falls; grandchildren, Jake, Blake and Elizabeth Mobley of Dike, Brittany and Hannah Weidman of Rochester, MN, Preston, Pierce and Draven Thoren of Cedar Falls, and one grandchild on the way; his father and step-mother, Harold and Delphine Morrow of Waterloo; his mother Gloria Heidt of Cedar Falls; brother, Denis (Linda) Morrow of New Hartford; nieces, Tabitha and Nicole; great-nephew, Justin; half brothers, Bruce Heidt of Cedar Falls, Rod Morrow of Ames, and Chuck Heidt Jr. of Cedar Falls; and an aunt and uncle who helped raise Scott, Helene and Rick Beard of Cedar Falls.

October 25, 2006 He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and cousin, Zackary Beard.
