SHERRIN (JACK) RASMUSSEN

CEDAR FALLS — Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at. the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, for Sherrin (Jack) Rasmussen, 73, of 4428 Leversee Road. The Rev. E. Charles Andersen of the St. Ansgar Lutheran Church, Waterloo, will officiate.

Mr. Rasmussen died at 6:45 a.m. Monday at the Lawn City Nursing Home, Cedar Falls. Burial will be in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.

He was born Dec. 15, 1898 in Atlantic, the son of Andrew and Jensine Hansen Rasmussen.

He married Dorothy Smith on March 29, 1929. He worked for the Baker Ice Cream Co. before his retirement.

He is survived by one son, Gary Rasmussen, of Dallas, Texas; one daughter Jacquelyn Tackenburg of Dallas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
