CEDAR FALLS - Dorothy Luella Muir, 95, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Jan. 2, at the Western Home Elizabeth Martin Center.

She was born July 15, 1916, in Parkersburg, daughter of Axel and Gertrude Mae Hersey Jochumsem. She married H. Rex Muir Sept. 26, 1937, in Manchester. He died May 6, 1980. She married Millard W. "Mac" McCoy Jan. 7,1984. He died Sept. 1, 1994.

She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1935, and attended Gates Business College. She was an accountant, and worked for Hughes Dry Goods Store from 1937-43, Albrecht Hatchery from 1943-68, and Wendell Lockard Construction from 1968-83 when she retired. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, 50-year member of O.E.S. 98 in Cedar Falls, and the Waterloo Elklets Lodge 1.

Survived by a brother, William T. Jochumsen of Cedar Falls; a niece, Pamela (Chuck) Chrisman of Ojai, Calif.; and many other nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Mae "Billie" Brewster.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Public visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church.
