CEDAR FALLS - Margaret Kobliska, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Windhaven Assisted Living.

She was born Sept. 4, 1924, in Waterloo, daughter of James and Margaret Friedl DeLorbe. She married LaVerne J. Kobliska on Oct. 20, 1952, in Waterloo. He died July 30, 2003.

Mrs. Kobliska was homemaker and partner with her husband in restaurant businesses.

Survived by a son, Bill of Des Moines; three daughters, Cathy (Jim) Reindl and Lin Smith, both of Cedar Falls, and Susan (Cal) Kobliska-Murdock of Des Moines; six grandchildren, Nicole (Craig) Baumer, Breanne (Travis) Reindl-Udeze, Lindsey Reindl, Jennah Smith, Tanner Smith and Kendra Smith; a great-grandson, Samuel Baumer; a brother, John DeLorbe of Waterloo; and a sister, Sister Antoinette DeLorbe of La Crosse, Wis.

Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Bernard.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary and a 7 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the family for an organization to be determined at a later date.
