WATERLOO - Robert C. Dinwiddie, 87, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, Dec. 26, of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Ridgway, Pa., son of Clyde and Mary Tobias Dinwiddie.

Mr. Dinwiddle graduated from Penn State, State College, Pa., with a bachelor's degree and from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, with a master's degree. He was vice president and general manager of Black Falls Advertising Agency Inc., Cedar Falls (division of Porters Camera). He also was in charge of the design and production of Porters direct mail and magazine advertising for more than 20 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, receiving an honorable discharge, and was a member of the American Legion.

Survived by two daughters, Robyn K. (G. Michael) Pedersen of Leesburg, Fla., and Lee (Loras) Even of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Daniel A. Pedersen, Lisa (Jeff) Kriz, Loras R. (Lisa) Even Jr. and James R. Even; five great-grandchildren, Brittni J. Kriz, Miranda L. Kriz, Patrick C. Kriz, Coulter M. Even and Benjamin A. Islamovic; and a sister, Gail Oyler of Biglerville, Pa.

Preceded in death by two brothers, John and Clyde

Family Services: will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. Burial will be in Waterloo Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home assisted the family.
