Funeral arrangements are still pending for Forrest Alcott 42, Route 4, Waterloo, who was found dead at 12:08 p.m. Friday at the Windsor Hotel. Black Hawk Coroner, Sidney Smith said death was caused by a heart attack.

Alcott was born in Waterloo in 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Alcott. He lived in the city all his life and married Helen DeWater here in 1931. He was last employed by the McCoy Construction Co.

He is survived by his wife and four children at home, Larry 18, Eugene 17, Mary 12, and Lena 6; four half- brothers; Lawrence Nissen, Waverly; Albert Wallace, Cedar Falls; Joseph Wallace, Waterloo; and Harry Wallace, Riceville, Iowa; and two half-sisters; Nellie DuShane; Eugene and Mabel Dickinson, Waterloo.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother, a son and his parents.
The body was at the Ray Harley Funeral Home.
