WATERLOO - Rodney D. Dickson, 62, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Dec. 4, at Covenant Medical Center of a heart attack.

He was born Nov. 21, 1949, in Sioux City, son of Dwight T. and Erma L. Gramenz Dickson. He married Jane E. Sackett on July 5, 1991, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mr. Dickson graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1968. He was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life, driving for several companies and most recently with Seegers Truckline of Denver. He also was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survived by his wife; a son, Josh (Munkyong) Fouts of Seoul, Korea; a daughter, Jennifer Petalver of Waterloo; two grandchildren; and a brother, Dean (Jan) Dickson of Anita.

Preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home, followed by cremation.
