WATERLOO - Robert Steve Pavich, 88, of Waterloo, died Sunday, Nov. 13, at West Village Care Center, Independence, of natural causes.

He was born Nov. 25, 1922, in Waterloo, son of Michael and Mary Matonovich Pavich. He attended St. Mary's School and was self-employed in automotive sales. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Survived by three daughters, Roma Brown of Minneapolis, Catherine Caya of Waterloo and Mary Paredes of Gapata, Texas; a son-in-law, Gene Brown of Waterloo; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Katherine Sansone of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a brother, John; a sister, Mary Paulus; and a brother-in-law, Dan Sandone.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. rosary service by the Legion of Mary. Visitation also an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
