CEDAR FALLS - Ruth E. Lorenz, 75, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Nov. 12, at Allen Hospital, Waterloo.

She was born Dec. 20, 1935, near Stout, daughter of John and Mary Meyer Weber. She married Eldon C. Lorenz on April 26, 1958, in Nashua.

Mrs. Lorenz graduated from Dike High School in 1954. She was a bank teller at Cedar Falls Trust & Savings (US Bank) for 22 years and also had worked at Frink Greenhouse for five years, retiring in 1999.

Survived by her husband; a daughter, Suzanne (Robert) Hampton of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Jamison and Dalton Hampton; and two sisters, Dorothy (George) Naber and Marlys (Mike) Schlamp, both of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stout Gospel Hall, Stout, with burial in Reinbeck Cemetery, Reinbeck. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls.
