WATERLOO - Pamela Sue Houston, 50, of Aurora, Colo., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, Nov. 6.

She was born Aug. 8, 1961, in Waterloo, daughter of Don and Gwen Simpson Edgerton. She married John Houston in 1989, and they later divorced.

Ms. Houston graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1979 and from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, with a degree in fashion merchandising. She had worked at Scheels at Crossroads Center.

Survived by a daughter, Courtney Houston of Aurora; a son, Matthew of Aurora; her parents of Waterloo; a sister, Paula Cygan of Burnsville, Minn.; nieces and nephew, Whitney (Matt) Schwartz, Haley Leverington, Meredith Leverington and Chase Leverington; and her aunt, Marcia Simpson of Iowa City.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ascension Lutheran Church, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Arrangements by Locke Funeral Home.
