WATERLOO - Norma Mae Cornwell, 82, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Cedar Falls Health Care Center of natural causes.

She was born Dec. 2, 1928, in Sumner, daughter of Henry and Elsie Aders Faust. She married Gordon D. Cornwell on Dec. 13, 1954, in Waterloo. He died April 30, 1981.

Mrs. Cornwell was a waitress at Cedar Falls Maid Rite for 15 years, retiring in 1970.

Survived by two sons, Delbert (Tracy) of Texas and Ron (Shelly) of Waterloo; a daughter, Barbara (Russell) Holven of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Amy (Mark) Van Der Kamp of Prairie City, Danny (Sara) Holven of Parkersburg and Adam (Amber) Holven of Faribault, Minn.; and six great-grandchildren, Blake Van Der Kamp, Hailey and Andrew Holven and Dylan, Owen and Morgan Holven.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Shirley Jean Faust.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Grace Reformed Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Locke Funeral Home.
