WATERLOO - Maudie May Richardson, 85, of Princeton, Mo., formerly of Waterloo, died at home Saturday, Oct. 29.

She was born Nov. 2, 1925, on the family farm near Lucerne, Mo., daughter of Eugene and Pearl Fitzwater Lessy. She married Howard Eugene Norris in 1944, Ray "Andy" Anderson in 1955 and Lee Richardson in 1966; all preceded her in death.

Mrs. Richardson graduated from Lucerne High School in 1943. She was owner/operator of Buck Hill Tap, Waterloo, for many years. She also was past president of the Mercer County Garden Club in Missouri.

Survived by a son, Ronald (Katherine "Dee") Norris of Princeton; a stepdaughter, Kathy (David) Barnes of Cedar Falls; four stepsons, Mike (Mary) Richardson of Fort Worth, Texas, Rusty (Marsha) Hanson and Randy (Colleen) Hanson, both of Waterloo, and Tim (Donna) Hanson of Hudson; five grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeanie (Bill) Morris of Lucerne; and several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by longtime companion, Roger "Stub" Hanson; a son, David Richard Norris; two sisters, Cleo Webb and Hazel Robbins; and two brothers, George and Carl Lessy.

Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Sprigg Cemetery, east of Lucerne. Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service, Princeton, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation today at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
