WATERLOO - Margaret M. Hesse, 96, of Waterloo, died Friday, Oct. 21, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born April 12, 1915, in Clarksville, daughter of Wiley and Alice Angelow Sherbourne. She married Henry Hesse Dec. 18, 1935, in Clarksville. He died May 4, 1975.

Survived by three daughters, Wilma (Craig) Cox and Carma Eick, all of Waterloo, and Mary Lou Kovarik of Ely; four sons, Lloyd (Billie), Robert (Jen) and Wayne (Wanda), all of Waterloo, and Richard of Clarksville, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Lorence; six brothers, Elmer, Earl, Harold, Floyd, Ernest and Forrest Sherbourne; and four sisters, Ethel Brandos, Bessie Wessendorf, Bertha Parson and Grace Forry.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with burial in Garden of Memories, both in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
