WATERLOO - Mary Kelly, 85, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Oct. 6, at Manor Care Health Services.

She was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Katherine Burger Manske. She married Richard Kelly Nov. 5, 1945, in Waterloo.

Mrs. Kelly was employed in the office of Chamberlain Manufacturing Co., and later with St. Francis Hospital until retirement. She volunteered with the Covenant Medical Center gift shop.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Mike (Pam) of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jim (Micky) of Mount Pleasant; a daughter, Kathy (Jim) Hingtgen of Urbandale; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Jerry; a brother, Robert Manske; and a sister, Evelyn Kinion.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with a 4 p.m. Catholic Daughters of the Americas rosary and 7 p.m. vigil service.

Memorials may be directed to Columbus High School or St. Edward's Catholic Church.
