CEDAR FALLS - Beverly L. Mercurio, 78, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, Oct. 3, at Western Home Communities Windhaven.

She was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Waterloo, daughter of Glen R. and Clara F. Furlong Aldrich. She married Harry John Mercurio on Dec. 23, 1950, in Waterloo. He died Sept. 28, 2009.

Mrs. Mercurio was a receptionist and office assistant at Trinity Bible Church, Cedar Falls, where she was a member.

Survived by two sons, Michael (Connie) and Joseph (Marcia), both of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda (Ron) Schmitz of Warren, Mo., and Shirley (Ron) Hayungs of La Porte City; and a brother, Jack (Diane) Houser of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by a son, John Anthony; two brothers, Eugene and Wayne Aldrich; and a sister, Darlene Cook.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Bible Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, in lieu of flowers.
