Funeral services for Emma Lois Fangmeier, age 67, of Waterloo, Iowa were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Garden View Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Emma Lois, daughter of Arthur and Florence (Fosler) Ashton, was born February 5, 1923 in Seward, Nebraska. On February 27, 1944 Emma married Milo Fangmeier in Waterloo, Iowa. Emma was the past president of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 764.

Emma Lois Fangmeier died Sunday March 18, 1990 at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Milo, who passed away on January 31, 1986, and her brother Arthur "Bud" Ashton, Sr.

There are no immediate survivors.
