HUDSON - Marguriete "Grete" Ingamells, 92, of Hudson, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born Sept. 23, 1918, in Lincoln Township, Black Hawk County, daughter of William S. and Grace Hoeg Gibson. She married Donald Ingamells on April 13, 1940, in Waterloo. He died Sept. 17, 1987.

She graduated from Hudson High School in 1935. She worked at Towsley and Randall's grocery stores for many years.

Survived by a son, Daryl (Elma) of Hudson; a grandson, Michael (Sara) Ingamells of Lincoln, Neb.; a granddaughter, Diane (Mark) Kocovsky of Omaha, Neb.; and five great-grandchildren, Madison and Blake Ingamells, both of Lincoln, and Meghan, Marah and Ryan Kocovsky, all of Omaha.

Preceded in death by an infant grandson, Mathew; four brothers, Murvel, Leo, Harold and Leonard Gibson; a sister, Bertha Petersen; eight half brothers, Floyd, Perl, Clarence, Harry and James Gibson, Lyle Hoeg and two in infancy; and four half sisters, Mary Franck, Gertrude Kline Reiter, Hazel Furneaux and Genevieve Stark.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Locke Funeral Home, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to Community Church of Hudson or the Hudson Library.
