FREDERICK A. HAES, 68, WATERLOO DIES FRIDAY

Frederick A Haes, 68, Waterloo died at 3 a.m. today at Allen Memorial Hospital. He was the father of Frederick Haes Jr., 3228 Loma Street. Death was due to cancer.

Surviving in addition to the son in Cedar Falls, are a daughter Delphine Elmore of Waterloo and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the College Hill Lutheran Chapel with the Rev. Edgar Brammer officiating. The body is at the Dahl Funeral Home.

Frederick August Haes was born August 9,1887 in Iowa, the son of Andrew and Amelia (Moerke) Haes. He married Ellen Eola Jeffries, the daughter of Clement and Delphine (Wilson) Jeffries. Ellen died March 1925.
He and his wife Ellen are buried in the Osage Cemetery, Osage, Mitchell, Iowa
