WATERLOO - Norma J. Jacobson, 76, of Waterloo, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Allen Hospital following a long illness.

She was born Aug. 19, 1932, in Grundy Center, daughter of George and Tillie Thorne Buchan. She married Donald R. Jacobson on Dec. 31, 1955, in Grundy Center.

Mrs. Jacobson was a homemaker.

Survived by her husband; a son, DeWayne (Sandy) of Waterloo; a daughter, Debbie (Shane) Bright of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Vernon (Jan), Ron (Karen), Jerry (Judy) and Larry (Judy) Buchan, all of Waterloo; and a sister, Kay Van Horn of West Union.

Preceded in death by four brothers, George, Ray, Dean and Paul Buchan; and a sister, LaVonne Messerschmidt.

Services were 11 a.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, Waterloo, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Grundy Center.
