CEDAR FALLS - Dorothy Alice Hering, 92, of the Western Home Communities, formerly of Stamford, Conn., died Monday, Sept. 5, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 7, 1919, in Black Hawk County, daughter of John and Marie Paulsen Jorgensen. She married Robert L. Hering on March 30, 1943, in New York City. He died March 26, 1975.

Mrs. Hering worked as an administrative assistant in the banking industry.

Survived by two brothers, Donald Jorgensen and John (Susan) Jorgensen, both of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Ruth Kjaer of Iowa City.

Time of remembrance: 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
