CEDAR FALLS - Margaret E. Taylor, 99, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Western Home Communities, Windgrace.

She was born March 13, 1912, in Clarinda, daughter of Frank C. and Carolina I. Shaffer Noble. She married Robert L. Taylor July 5, 1936, in Shenandoah. He died June 2, 2006.

She co-owned and operated Taylor's Building Center in Cedar Falls with her husband, until retirement.

Survived by two sons, Jim (June) of Des Moines and John (Nancy) of Missoula, Mont.; two daughters, Jean Acheson of Des Moines and Jane Kech of Alvin, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Travis (Brooke) Acheson, Shay Acheson and Brady (Carlye) Acheson, all of Des Moines, Jenny (Henry) Keck Bryant of Bryan, Texas, Jamie Keck of Boulder, Colo., Shannon Acheson Rhoades of Centennial, Colo., Chad Taylor of Chicago, Dustin (Kari) Taylor of Des Moines, and Jackie Taylor and Jessica Taylor, both of Missoula; and 10 great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Emma and Gretta Acheson, all of Des Moines, Zachary Rhoades of Centennial, Colo., Flora Bryant of Bryan, Texas, Piper Acheson of Des Moines, Chance Taylor of Missoula, Ethan and A.J. Acheson of Des Moines and Ryan Taylor of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Jack and Frank James Noble.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Service, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church, Cedar Valley Hospice, Sartori Memorial Hospital, Sure Care, or Western Home Foundation.
