Bo came into this world fearless and full of life. In his nine years, he taught his family and others to love harder, share more, be friendly to all and help others. Bodee loved life, loved to be with friends and absolutely loved being on the water with other Waterhawks every moment he could. It is difficult to put into words what Bo meant to his family, relatives, friends, classmates, neighbors and fellow athletes. He has left a gaping hole in our hearts that will never be full again. We love you, Buddy, and cannot wait until we see you and Jesus, side-by-side.

A Bodee Peterson Memorial Waterhawk Ski Show will be tonight, Sunday, at 6 p.m. at Eagle Lake, Evansdale.

Bodee Peterson, 9, who would have started fourth grade Thursday, died Wednesday in a water-skiing accident at Eagle Lake in Evansdale.

Bodee was a member of the Waterhawks Ski Team. Peterson was water-skiing with the team Wednesday at Eagle Lake when he and two other skiers fell into the water. Peterson was struck by a boat driven by a team member while he was in the water. The driver's view was obstructed by the nose of the boat. The driver told investigators that he believed Peterson and the other skiers had swam to shore.
