CEDAR FALLS - Gregory C. Groebner, 48, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 4, at his home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1962, in St. Paul, Minn., son of Donald and Patricia Elfstrum Groebner. He married Carolyn M. "Carrie" Franzmeier in Eau Claire, Wis., in July 1995.

He graduated from Central Lee High School in Argyle in 1981, and received a two-year degree from Northwestern Electronics Institute in Columbia Heights, Minn. Mr. Groebner was a service technician with Bosch Packaging Services.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Kylie at home; his parents of Montrose; and a sister, Denise (Jim) Stump of Fort Madison.

Services: 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, with visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family for his daughter's educational fund.
