CEDAR FALLS - Darold Steven "Steve" Nimrod, 60, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, July 2, in Tucson of natural causes.

He was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Marshalltown, son of Leland and Kathleen "Kate" Smith Nimrod.

He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1969 and attended Luther College in Decorah. He was employed in sales and fundraising.

Survived by a son, Dylan of St. Louis; his mother, Kate of Cedar Falls; and a sister, Pamela Gabriel of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by his father, Leland.

Private family services: will take place. His body has been cremated. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
