Charles City – Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of the Open Bible in Waterloo for George DuShane, 81. He died Sunday in Charles City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo, with the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City in charge.

He was married to Nellie Eliza Wallace, November 15, 1906, in Osage.
For many years he was a maintenance engineer for the Borden Manufacturing Co., in Waterloo.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A. C. Wegner Jr., Charles City, and Mrs. M. W. Burtch, Portland, Oregon., a son, Wallace M. DuShane, Waterloo; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother Clem Dushane, York, N. D., and a sister, Mrs. Vivian Hershberger, Keego Harbor, Mich.
