LA PORTE CITY - Dorothy E. Mixdorf, 90, of La Porte City, died Friday, July 22, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.

She was born March 20, 1921, in Unity, Wis., daughter of George and Fannie Moulds Engledow. She married Lewis Wright on March 27, 1944, in La Porte City. He died in June 1963. She married Edward Mixdorf on Sept. 8, 1964, in La Porte City. He died April 10, 1976.

Survived by a son, Lewis (Sheila) Wright of North Liberty; a daughter, Darlene Mixdorf of La Porte City; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, her twin, Doris Schultz of Cedar Rapids and Bernadine Watson of Overland Park, Kan.; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Mather of Vinton.

Preceded in death by two daughters, Alice Mae Wright and Nancy Louise Wright; two brothers, Raymond and Wilbur Engledow; and a sister, Mildred Fuller.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at La Porte City Funeral Service, with burial in West View Cemetery, La Porte City. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and an hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
