WATERLOO - Joann F. Marx, 76, of Conyers, Ga., formerly of Waterloo, died June 21 of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 3, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of George and Beatrice Sherill. She married James R. Marx July 30, 1955, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Cedar Falls. He died Dec. 8, 2010.

Mrs. Marx worked for many years in the food services business, primarily at Country Kitchen.

Survived by a son, Jim (Jannan) of Dike; two daughters, Linda (Bruce) Wilson of Roswell, Ga., and Kathy (Chris) Hall of Dacula, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services were June 23 in Conyers.
