WATERLOO - Marilyn J. Knight, 64, of Waterloo, died at home Sunday, July 10.

She was born May 18, 1947, in Decorah, daughter of Palmer and Agnes Nelson Boe. She married Raymond C. Knight Sr. April 19, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, and they later divorced.

Ms. Knight was a senior companion with Hawkeye Community College.

Survived by a son, Raymond Jr. (Missy) of Readlyn; a daughter, Kimberly (Ronn) Lauritzen of Jesup; five grandchildren, Gage and Halie Knight, both of Sidney, Mont., Braden and Hannah Knight, both of Readlyn, and Kylie Lauritzen of Jesup.

Preceded in death by a son, Brad; and a sister, Sharon Engbretson.

Family-directed Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church, 1509 Rainbow Drive. Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball is in charge of arrangements.
