WATERLOO - Naomi R. Barna, 90, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, July 5, at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

She was born Oct. 22, 1920, in New Hartford, daughter of Greenbery Bright and Ethel Blunt Luck. She married James A. Barna on Nov. 21, 1943, in Muskogee, Okla. He died Nov. 10, 1990.

Mrs. Barna was a homemaker and Avon representative in Waterloo.

Survived by a son, Terry of Jesup; three daughters, Nina (Jon "Jack") Jermann of Cedar Falls, and Ryta Barna and Linda Jacobson, both of Waterloo; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ethel Mae Milligan and Cherity Gunderson, both of Waterloo, and Donna (Bob) Westervelt of Nashua.

Preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy; four brothers, Ralph, Tracy, Jack and Clarence Luck; and four sisters, Edna Strauser, Mabel Cagley, Keitha Irene Luck and Frances W. Strauser.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Waterloo, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
