CEDAR FALLS - Irma M. Husome, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, June 21, at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

She was born March 3, 1918, in Hanlontown, daughter of Martin and Louise Morotz Oswald. She married Edward J. Husome on Nov. 14, 1937, in Hanlontown. He died July 9, 1973.

Mrs. Husome was employed as a retail clerk in Cedar Falls for 17 years, retiring in 1973.

Survived by two sons, Dennis (LaRetta) of Waterloo and Rod (Cheryl) of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Myron Oswald of Harpers Ferry; and three sisters, Esther Hudson of Fresno, Calif., Bernice "Bunnie" Mixdorf of Cedar Falls and Elaine (Jim) Vogel of Jesup.

Preceded in death by two sons, Mervin and Lowell; two grandchildren, Tracy Husome and David Levendusky; two brothers, Clarence and Melvin Oswald; and a sister, Irene Maxson.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the church.
