died at home Sunday, June 12, from complications of cancer.

She was born Aug. 17, 1942, in Mason City, daughter of Glen and Marie Hansen Gard. She married Roger McMurrin on Oct. 18, 1958, in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. McMurrin attended Jefferson High School, Cedar Rapids, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Raymond United Methodist Church and former member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Survived by her husband; two sons, Scott (Debbie) of Waterloo and Russell (Tina) of Picayune, Miss.; a daughter, Ruth (Donovan) Gaffney of LaCygne, Kan.; four grandchildren, Josh Pankey, Shannon (Michelle) McGarrin, Jacob McMurrin and Zachary McMurrin; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol (Larry) Ross of Elizabeth, Colo.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and David Gard.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Raymond United Methodist Church, Raymond, followed by cremation. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Locke Funeral Home.
