WATERLOO - Lulu "Lou" Ruth Willoughby, 85, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 14, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 7, 1925, in New Hampton, daughter of Martin and Florence Utley Beard. She married Sam L. Willoughby, and he preceded her in death.

Survived by a daughter, Patricia (Bill) Oloff of Cedar Rapids; a son, Tom (Cheryl) of Richmond Hill, Ga.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services; her body was cremated at her request. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, assisted the family.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
