WATERLOO — Laurie Marsch, 48, of Waterloo, died at home Friday, June 3, of leukemia.

She was born in Waterloo, daughter of Robert and Damaris Trebon Marsch.

She graduated from Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School in Vinton in 1982. She was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and National Federation for the Blind.

Survived by two sisters, Mary Ann (Dave) Brincks of Carroll and Diane Marsch of Portland, Ore.; a brother, Thomas (Julie) Marsch of Hudson; three nieces, Kate (Dan) Arjes of Sioux Falls, S.D., Stephanie Marsch of Waterloo and Jennifer Marsch of Iowa City; and two nephews, John Brincks of Des Moines and Dan Brincks of Des Moines.

Preceded in death by her parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Edward Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, with a rosary at 4 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., and for an hour before services at the church.

Memorials may be directed to St. Edward Catholic Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
