CEDAR FALLS - Charles William "Bill" Webb Jr., 83, of Cedar Falls, died at home Friday, May 27.

He was born Feb. 29, 1928, in Waterloo, son of Charles and Ruth Banton Webb. He married Mary Lou Maxwell on June 3, 1951, at First Congregational Church, Waterloo.

Mr. Webb graduated from Waterloo West High School in 1946, then served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Adults Inc.

Survived by his wife; two sons, Jeff (Chris) of Viera, Fla., and Mike of Kimball, Neb.; a daughter, Becky (Doyle) Young of Edina, Minn.; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jean Phelps (Gene) of Litchfield Park, Ariz.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Julie; and a son, Tom.

Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Cedar Falls, preceded by an hour of visitation. Inurnment at a later date. Iowa Cremation Society, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.
